About us

The practice was originally founded by Mr Edward Jones in 1749 and operated under the name of D.T.M. Jones & Co with two branches in both Talgarth and Llandovery.  This actually makes us the oldest law firm in Wales! 

The practice was subsequently taken over by Mr David Stanley Glasbrook in the 1960’s and subsequently became known as Glasbrooks (incorporating D.T.M Jones & Co). It was then re-branded into Ieuan Morris & Co, incorporating the aforementioned firms in the 1980’s; named after Mr Glasbrooks’ former trainee. Mr Morris remained in practice until 2004 before officially retiring due to poor health.

Mr Philip Bridger who was a fee earner in the firm prior to Mr Morris’ retirement, took over the reigns in 2010 before rebranding the firm in to Bridger & Co Solicitors, as it is now known to this day.

The firm now boasts two offices in Llandovery and Llandrindod Wells offering a wide range of legal services to an array of clients’ across the whole of Wales, England and across the globe; as far afield as countries in Europe, the USA, Saudi Arabia and China. The clientele varies from members of the public, to professional sportsmen and women, actors and actresses and businesses.
